Nigerian rapper, Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, popularly known as Olamide (baddo), has shared that he no longer eats Amala and other heavy local meals.

Naija News reports that the Metaverse crooner revealed that he now prefers lighter and healthier options like broccoli, sea bass, lamb chops, and caviar.

The music star spoke during an interview with YouTuber Korty EO, which was released on Sunday, August 3.

When asked about his favourite food, the YBNL boss admitted that he is not really a food lover but enjoys eating vegetables, especially broccoli.

He explained that although he used to enjoy traditional meals like Amala, he decided to stop because they often left him feeling too full and tired.

Olamide said he now chooses meals that feel light in his stomach and help him stay more active.

He said: “I’m not a big fan of food. “I eat veggies. But I can kIll for broccoli.

“I love broccoli, sea bass fish, lamb chops, and even caviar. Those are light meals. I don’t eat Amala, it makes me full.”

In other news, Nollywood actor, Prince Eke has declared that the growing insecurity across Nigeria, especially in Benue State, may be connected to a global push for genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in Africa.

Naija News reports that in a post on his Instagram page, the actor said that the wave of attacks targeting farmers using traditional seeds is not random.

According to him, the violence, land grabs, and kidnappings are forcing farmers off their lands, leading to a drop in local food production.

In that vacuum, foreign corporations are stepping in with GMO alternatives.

Eke warned that as traditional farming weakens, the country may fall into deeper dependence on imported, patented seeds controlled by global biotech firms.
