A Nigerian man has shared how he was raised by his father and how this influenced the way he sees and treats women. The X user shared this while drawing comparisons between the way Nigerian men treat Nigerian women and how they treat white women. He wrote: “One of the reasons you will never see me shaming women on Twitter is because of how my parents raised me. Especially my father. “My dad used to tell us that there is no boy or girl in his house. We are all his children. There was no specific chore for boys or girls. He can send any of us to do anything. “There were times my dad and my sisters would be watching a movie in the sitting room, and he would send me or my brothers to go cook something for him in the kitchen. “Anytime my mom gave birth, he used to bathe her on days she was very weak and also bathe us since we were small. Then prepare breakfast and take us to school. “It shaped how I see and treat women. It takes a good man to raise a good man.” He added: “Even abroad, men do house chores and take care of their women. It is only some Nigerian men making it look like it is weird. When these men marry whte women, they learn these things and do it joyfully. But they draw the line when it comes to Nigerian women.” The post Man reveals how his dad’s actions shaped how he sees and treats women appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
