 Lorna Raver, an American actress known for her roles in horror movies, has d!ed at the age of 81. Raver died on May 12 at the age of 81, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Her de@th was revealed in the In Memoriam section of the SAG-AFTRAs Summer 2025 magazine. A cause of death for Raver is unknown at this time. Raver had more than 50 screen credits to her name, mostly on television, but was known for her turns in supernatural thriller films  notably, Sam Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell (2009) and Matthew Parkhill’s The Caller (2009). In the former, Raver played Sylvia Ganush, an elderly woman who puts a curse on bank-loan officer Christine Brown (Alison Lohman), which sets off a series of misfortunes for Christine.What I liked about the character was that she was powerful,” Raver said in Jason Normans 2014 book Welcome to Our Nightmares, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Raver was also known for her roles on stage and as an audiobook narrator, as well as on the soap The Young and the Restless. Her final appearance on film was in 2013’s Rushlights, and she retired from acting the following year. The Pennsylvania-born actress was married to radio writer and producer Yuri Rasovsky from 1987 until his de@th in 2012.  The post Iconic horror movie star, Lorna Raver passesawayat81 appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
