A police officer in Houston, Texas, is under internal investigation after a social media post implied she was issuing tickets out of frustration over not having s3x. Deputy Jennifer Escalera of Harris County Constable Precinct 5 appeared in a now-deleted TikTok video filmed inside her squad car in full uniform, with her nameplate clearly visible. In the video, she is seen holding a pen and notepad while an onscreen caption reads, Dint (sic) get cracked last night so everyone is getting a ticket. The video quickly went viral before being removed from her account. Harris County Constable Precinct 5 Public Information Officer Jeff McShan confirmed to TMZ that Escalera is currently under investigation. However, she remains on active duty. Escalera is known for frequently posting content about her work on TikTok, including “Get Ready With Me” clips where she films herself putting on makeup and suiting up with her uniform, gun, and utility belt. Some Houston residents in the fifth precinct expressed outrage over the video, calling it unprofessional, inappropriate, disrespectful, and childish. Others, however, have responded in a different tone, flooding her TikTok comments with flirtatious remarks and even jokingly asking to be arrested. The investigation remains ongoing.
