Singer Paul Okoye, better known as RudeBoy, has urged fans to avoid feeling pressured by the lavish white wedding of Davido and Chioma Rowland in Miami, United States.
Naija News reports that the couple’s wedding ceremony took place on Sunday and became a major topic online, with photos and videos flooding social media platforms.
In a post shared on Instagram on Monday, RudeBoy cautioned against comparing personal lives to celebrity events, noting that such comparisons could create unnecessary stress.
He described partners as “innocent” and not to be judged by such standards.
He also congratulated Davido and Chioma, posting their smiling picture and wishing them a happy married life.
He wrote: “Miami is catching fire. No allow anybody pressure you ohh. Is a thin line between who you be and who your papa come be? Don’t let them put you under pressure. Your boyfriend or your man is very innocent ohh. Congratulations!! To my people. Happy married life.”
Davido’s Miami celebration followed the couple’s traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024 and their court wedding in March 2023.
In other news, Davido’s first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, has clashed with online users while the singer and his wife, Chioma, were celebrating their white wedding in Miami.
Naija News reports that the exchange began when Sophia posted a video on Snapchat featuring an American man speaking about dating a free-spirited woman.
Some users took the opportunity to advise her to marry and take cues from Wizkid’s baby mamas, who maintain a low public profile.
