Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Dede, has revealed that she deals with social anxiety, which has made it difficult for her to bond with other contestants in the house.
Naija News reports that her behaviour has drawn attention from fellow housemates and viewers, especially after Kulture, another contestant, described her as someone who keeps to herself and acts unusually around others.
His comment came during a diary session where he expressed concern about her distant nature.
Dede explained her condition during a conversation with Koyin, a fellow housemate, after being asked about her reserved attitude.
She admitted that she has social anxiety, which explains why she avoids hugging male housemates and often keeps to herself.
Before now, Dede had already spoken about her struggle to connect with people during her first diary session.
She told Biggie that she is an introvert who finds it hard to interact with others, especially since she did not know anyone in the house before the show started.
Despite this, some housemates, like Koyin, have shown understanding and encouraged her not to feel bad about her quiet behaviour.
In other news, one of the housemates in the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 10, Kayikunmi has declared his intention to leave the show voluntarily.
Naija News reports that the decision came after his involvement in a series of events that left him unsettled.
His closeness with three female housemates; Isabella, Thelma, and Mide stirred tension in the house.
His relationship with Isabella turned sour after he chose to spend time with Thelma, who had won the Head of House game.
Isabella, feeling betrayed, decided to cut ties with him completely.
Kayikunmi also clashed with Bright Morgan, who shares mutual feelings with Mide, the housemate Kayikunmi has a crush on.
The confrontation happened on Monday and added more pressure to his already troubled day.
