The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday convened its 177th regular meeting at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja.
In a statement posted on the party’s official 𝕏 handle, the meeting was presided over by the National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, and focused on critical issues concerning the party’s internal operations and ongoing political activities.
While the APC did not disclose specific resolutions from the session, it described the gathering as part of the NWC’s routine engagements aimed at strengthening party strategy and organisational structures ahead of upcoming political events.
The statement read, “Led by the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, the National Working Committee held its 177th regular meeting today at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, to consider and deliberate on sundry Party matters and activities.”
In other news, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has cautioned the APC to stop using personal attacks as a diversion from what it described as the failures of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
It stated that the supposed ruling party, which controls both chambers of the National Assembly and commands the vast resources of the Nigerian State, is behaving as though it were the opposition party.
In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC stated that the APC continues to operate like an opposition party, despite holding the presidency and controlling both chambers of the National Assembly.
