Actor Leonardo DiCaprio suffers embarrassment as he’s stopped and searched by police officer who don’t recognize him

Leonardo DiCaprio was briefly held up by police while trying to enter a tequila party in Ibiza and, unusually for the Hollywood star,  he was not immediately recognized. The 50-year-old actor, dressed in an all-black outfit with his signature baseball cap and chain, was seen in a video obtained by the Daily Mail waiting patiently as officers searched guests. At one point, a woman in the background could be heard saying, They are searching me full-on right now.  DiCaprio was in Ibiza with his girlfriend, 27-year-old Italian model Vittoria Ceretti, and friends, including actor Joel Edgerton and his partner, Christine Centenera. While it is unclear if Ceretti was the woman speaking in the clip, witnesses said the incident was standard procedure. Every single person was patted down and IDd, a source told Page Six, noting that police did not single DiCaprio out and simply didnt realize who he was at first. Its funny, they did a double take and then he went in! the source added.  The event, hosted at a private villa by Patron and Spanish actor-singer Aron Piper, attracted several celebrities. According to reports, rapper Travis Scott was denied entry, while other high-profile attendees, including Kendall Jenner and DiCaprios longtime friend Tobey Maguire, made it inside. DiCaprio, a frequent visitor to Ibiza, has been vacationing on the island this summer. Earlier in the month, he and Ceretti were spotted aboard Jeff Bezos and Lauren Snchezs mega yacht. The couple also attended Bezos and Snchezs wedding in Venice, Italy, in June, where Ceretti revealed she suffered a wardrobe mishap, tearing her vintage Dolce & Gabbana dress.  DiCaprio and Ceretti have been linked since summer 2023, though the model has spoken out about the scrutiny of dating one of Hollywoods most famous actors.
