As a way of preventing paternity fraud, activist Deji Adeyanju has suggested that DNA tests should be made mandatory before birth certificates are issued to a new born child in Nigeria. In a post shared on X, Adeyanju appealed to the National Assembly to consider passing such a bill. His post was welcomed by many who believe that paternity fraud has become rampant in Nigeria.
