HL: BBNaija S10: Team Vibrant Steals the Show in First Guinness Challenge

The BBNaija house came alive on Tuesday night, August 12, 2025, as the unmistakable Guinness drums signalled the start of the first Gold-sponsored task of the season. It wasnt just another game day. This was Guinness stepping into the arena, setting the stage for a showdown that would test the housemates speed, wit, precision, and composure. Biggie read the brief, the Guinness gear came out, and the housemates knew they were in for something big.  Before the games began, they split into four squads; Vibrant, Smooth, Refreshing, and Bold, each starting with 100 points. From there, every point would have to be earned or defended. The first stage, Break the Ice, sounded simple on paper. Scoop ice cubes from a marked box, weave through tyres, tiptoe across wooden planks. But one clang of the dreaded bell froze players mid-stride, mid-laugh, mid-almost-trip. A pause that instantly brought Squid Game flashbacks. The wrong twitch could cost precious seconds and, in a game this tight, seconds were gold. Then there were the infamous 6C and 9C cubes’ evil twins that looked almost identical and had a knack for slipping away at the worst possible moment.  Then came Mind the Angle. Three reps from each team squeezed through awkward cut-outs and solved puzzles on the fly. Completion was worth 15 points, the fastest team earned an extra 10, and mistakes could dock you 15. Team Vibrants Jason glided through the shapes with control and agility, while Team Bolds energy didnt always translate to accuracy.   The final stage wasnt about muscle anymore rather, it was Guinness-level craft. Steady hands, perfect tilt, and every drop counting. Biggie even slipped in hints that could have saved teams from losing points, but several housemates didnt catch on until it was too late. It was the ultimate work hard or work smart moment, where rushing only meant spills, penalties, and heartbreak.  When the dust settled, the cheers told the story before the scoreboard did. Team Bold finished with 28 points, Team Smooth with 65, Team Refreshing with 102. And then came the roar for the champions. Team Vibrant 115 points, crisp, calculated, and completely in control. Jason, Isabella, Kayikunmi, Imisi, Sultana, Kuture, and Johanna had played the Guinness way: strategic, composed, and confident. Some joked that if the game had gone on longer, a few teams might have ended up owing Guinness points, proof of how brutal the penalties could be.  Away from the scoreboard, Guinness scored big on style. Housemates were decked out in sleek branded merch with tailored bottoms and bold t-shirts, and wore them like fashion week pieces. Social media lit up with fans raving about how good their favs looked in them.  The last task, Pour with Joy, didnt just decide the winners, it mirrored the Guinness pouring ritual itself. First, you Break the Ice with a chilled bottle. Then, you Mind Your Angles, tilting your glass to perfection. Finally, you Pour with Joy, savouring every drop. Just like in the game, the perfect pour isnt about speed; its about precision, patience, and enjoying the process. For Guinness, the task was a signature Big Brother Naija moment. Across 10 seasons, the brand has brought fans and housemates together for thrill, brilliance, problem-solving, and a touch of spectacle. This year felt like a full-circle celebration.
