Atalanta forward, Ademola Lookman, has emerged as a potential transfer target for English Premier League giant, Arsenal, following the collapse of his proposed move to Inter Milan.
According to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, the Nerazzurri have pulled out of negotiations after Atalanta refused to sanction a sale, leaving the Nigerian international’s future open.
Romano noted that the development has now drawn the attention of several Premier League clubs who are monitoring the situation closely.
Arsenal are said to be weighing the option if Trossard exits.
“Premier League clubs are aware of Lookman’s situation and could be a suitable option for them,” Romano said via his official 𝕏 handle.
“For example, let’s see what happens at Arsenal. Arsenal are very happy with the current attacking lineup.
“In terms of age, Lookman might not be the type of player Arsenal usually sign, but perhaps if [Leandro] Trossard decides to leave in the final weeks, this could be an opportunity. So, let’s see what happens.”
