The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has claimed that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) is using expired tactics and therefore cannot deceive Nigerians ahead of the 2027 elections.
Naija News reports that Keyamo stated this while speaking on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, describing the ADC tactics as a 419 format.
Keyamo further stated that the ADC tactics of reeling out figures, picking out isolated incidents and using them for generalisation were deceptive political methods that would ultimately fail.
He said, “They know us very well, and we also know them very well. They are not strangers to us.
“And some of these tactics they are using are what is called 419. It was what I used to prosecute people as EFCC prosecutor.
“The format they are using is expired. Nigerians know that format already. So you cannot use it to deceive them. Reeling out figures, picking out isolated incidents and using them for generalisation.”
Without naming anyone, the minister further accused a member of the opposition coalition of flaunting wealth while claiming to champion the cause of rescuing Nigerians.
He said, “One of them is busy displaying wealth every day, putting 500 cars in his garage and telling Nigerians he wants to rescue them.”
